Role Overview:
The Senior Solar Systems Engineer will lead the design, development, and performance optimization of SolarNova’s flagship solar technologies. The role involves system modeling, component engineering, field testing, and grid-integration planning for commercial and residential deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the engineering design of solar panel systems, inverters, and energy storage architectures.
• Oversee simulation modeling, performance analytics, and system optimization studies.
• Conduct field assessments, performance measurements, and reliability evaluations.
• Collaborate with R&D teams on next-generation photovoltaic materials.
• Design smart-grid integration workflows with utilities and grid operators.
• Develop system documentation, engineering specifications, and safety protocols.
• Support large-scale deployment, installation oversight, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and international renewable-energy standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in solar system engineering or photovoltaic product development.
• Strong knowledge of PV design tools (PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD).
• Expertise in inverters, energy storage technologies, and smart-grid systems.
• Experience with field performance testing and data modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
