Role Overview:
The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented pharmacy professional with retail pharmacy experience who excels in customer service, billing, and coordination. They work well in fast-paced environments, communicate effectively, and collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and bill prescriptions accurately using pharmacy software
Schedule deliveries, appointments, and manage site calendars
Provide customer support via phone and email
Create and maintain patient files and documentation
Coordinate insurance coverage, third-party billing, and copayments
Dispense and ship medications accurately and on time
Conduct patient follow-ups for outstanding accounts
Manage inventory and ensure regulatory compliance
Communicate with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and payers
Qualifications:
Secondary School Diploma
1–3 years of retail pharmacy experience
Knowledge of pharmacy software
Familiarity with third-party insurance plans
Proficiency in a Windows environment and Microsoft Office
