Role Overview
The Trust Accountant is responsible for overseeing multiple trust accounts and ensuring all trust-related accounting activities are completed accurately and in compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Review and reconcile daily cash activity in trust and commission bank accounts
Balance incoming and outgoing cash against processed transactions
Reconcile commissions, dividends, trailer fees, and distributions
Prepare calculations and reporting letters for fund custodians and clients
Prepare and process cheque and wire payments
Communicate with Operations teams, custodian banks, broker/dealers, and clients
Analyze reports to identify exceptions and resolve discrepancies
Enter transactions using automated accounting systems
Maintain accurate files, records, and reports
