Role Overview
The Waitstaff role involves providing high-quality food and beverage service by taking orders, delivering items efficiently, and ensuring an excellent dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and take food and beverage orders efficiently
Deliver food professionally while following safe food handling and sanitation standards
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specialized diets
Advise guests on food and beverage combinations when requested
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
Address guest complaints and report issues to supervisors
Set up and clean the dining room before and after service periods
Support special events and functions as required
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food services industry, valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent, strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, and physical ability to lift heavy items and stand or walk for most of the shift.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Compensation
CA$22.00 per hour
