Role Overview
The Dental Assistant supports dentists during clinical procedures, ensures strict infection control standards, assists with patient care, and maintains an efficient and clean clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Chairside assisting during general dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and dental instruments
Following IPAC and sterilization protocols
Taking digital radiographs and assisting with charting
Ensuring patient comfort and clear communication
Maintaining a clean and organized clinical workspace
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant Level II (Ontario)
Strong knowledge of IPAC standards
Professional, punctual, and reliable work ethic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with digital dentistry is considered an asset
Compensation
Hourly wage ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience and certification level.
