Responsibilities
-
Implement content updates and style changes using WordPress and basic coding

Install and configure WordPress plugins to enhance functionality

Perform routine website testing and cross-browser checks

Troubleshoot minor bugs and support site maintenance, including backups
-
Collaborate with designers and content teams to ensure strong UX/UI
-
Act as escalation support for complex development issues
-
Lead development and maintenance for Firegang.com

Maintain documentation and manage tasks in Teamwork Projects & Desk
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
-
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
-
Experience with WordPress CMS (themes, plugins, content management)
-
Familiarity with debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Firebug)
-
Understanding of responsive design and website architecture
Bonus Skills

Basic PHP and MySQL knowledge
-
WordPress portfolio (personal or volunteer projects)
-
UI/UX fundamentals, SEO basics, web performance optimization
-
Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG)
