Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Lead technical design, architecture, and implementation of complex software systems

• Make high-level design decisions and guide coding standards and development methodologies

• Test, debug, and resolve issues to ensure high-quality deliverables

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables

• Ensure adherence to best practices, performance, security, and accessibility standards

• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation

Skills, Competencies & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in WordPress development

• Strong expertise in modern PHP and WordPress architecture

• Proficient in React.js and modern JavaScript practices

• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg)

• Strong experience with MySQL

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

• Proven ability to build accessible, high-performance websites

• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments

• Self-motivated, transparent, and accountable

• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work from home or in a climate-controlled office environment

• Extended periods working at a desk and computer

• Regular use of hands for keyboarding and technical tasks

• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring strong problem-solving skills
