Position Overview
The Legal Assistant will support lawyers in the Real Property and Planning practice by managing legal documents, calendars, files, and providing client and administrative support. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, format, proofread, and manage legal documents
Maintain and organize client files, records, and calendars
Coordinate tasks with internal teams and support lawyers’ daily activities
Arrange client meetings, travel, and handle correspondence
Assist with billing, time entry, and administrative processes
Provide backup support and contribute as a collaborative team member
Required Qualifications
Legal Assistant diploma or relevant college certificate
Minimum 3 years of legal assistant or professional services experience
Strong knowledge of legal and business terminology
Excellent attention to detail and document accuracy
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
