What You’ll Do:
-
Build high-quality, scalable software for Amplify’s learning platform.

Develop front-end and back-end components, including automated tests and tooling.

Review code and provide pragmatic, elegant solutions.
-
Collaborate with DevOps on deployment processes and infrastructure.
-
Ensure software reliability and accessibility for all students.
-
Participate in code reviews and foster best practices within the engineering team.
Required Qualifications:
-
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
-
2+ years of professional software development experience.
-
Strong understanding of modern frontend and backend technologies.
-
Experience with problem-solving in complex systems and large codebases.
-
Strong communication skills and self-driven learning.
-
Passion for education and equitable learning solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with Python, JavaScript, RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
-
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Snowflake.
-
Cloud experience: AWS AppSync, Lambdas, Terraform, Docker, Datadog.
-
Automated testing: Jest, WebdriverIO.
Compensation & Benefits:
-
Salary: $120,000 – $129,000 + discretionary annual bonus.
