Role Overview:
In this role, you will analyze data collected from ocean sensors, coastal monitoring stations, and underwater platforms. You will transform raw environmental data into actionable insights used by researchers, policymakers, and commercial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze coastal and oceanographic datasets from sensor networks.
• Monitor trends related to water quality, currents, and seabed conditions.
• Develop visual reports and dashboards for project stakeholders.
• Support environmental impact and coastal resilience studies.
• Validate and clean large-scale marine datasets.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on data interpretation.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and project documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Science, Oceanography, or Environmental Science.
• 3–6 years of experience in environmental or marine data analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
• Experience working with geospatial or time-series data.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Interest in coastal monitoring and marine sustainability.
