Role Title:
Construction & Site Management (Energy Projects)
Role Purpose:
The role is responsible for managing on-site construction activities for MV substations, Solar PV, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring safety, quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction & Site Operations
Lead daily construction activities for MV substations, Solar PV, and BESS projects.
Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and site supervisors.
Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, and commissioning activities.
Scheduling & Cost Control
Develop and manage construction schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Track progress, productivity, and project milestones.
Technical Oversight
Oversee installation of MV equipment including switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.
Supervise grounding, trenching, duct banks, foundations, and bonding works.
Manage Solar PV installations including racking, modules, inverters, and AC/DC systems.
Stakeholder & Utility Coordination
Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, utilities, and authorities.
Coordinate with utilities such as Hydro One and local distribution companies.
Quality & Compliance
Implement project-specific Quality Plans.
Conduct inspections, manage deficiencies, and close punch lists.
