Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Construction oversees all construction and property development across Clutch facilities, leading new builds and retrofit projects while supporting national expansion. This role combines construction engineering, planning, project management, and contract oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee construction engineering, planning, and design for facilities and expansion projects
Manage due diligence, scoping, pricing, and evaluation of new sites
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design requirements
Negotiate and manage vendor and contractor agreements
Lead site management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
Supervise construction projects from concept to completion
Experience & Qualifications
10–15 years of construction or real estate development experience
Experience managing projects valued at $5M–$20M
National or multi-site project experience
Willingness to travel across provinces and job sites
Strong background in construction, engineering, or project management
Experience with new builds and warehouse/logistics facility upgrades
Understanding of budgets, finance, and cost tracking
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and decision-making ability, excellent organizational and communication skills, strategic thinking, adaptability, stakeholder management, technical construction expertise, and proficiency with project management and digital tools.
