Wealthbox is looking for a Software Engineer for our web-and-mobile CRM software for financial advisors. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and customer support teams to quickly iterate on customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and enhancements using the Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework.
- Implement user-facing functionality with Typescript and React.
- Collaborate and pair program with our experienced team of full-stack software engineers.
- Help with problem-solving and issue resolution, collaborating on bug fixes and improvements.
Desired Skills & Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or similar technical field of study.
- Some experience building web applications, whether through school, internships, or personal projects.
- Strong desire to learn the Ruby programming language and Rails framework.
- Interest in AI, automations and cutting-edge engineering techniques.
- Experience with relational databases and version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Appreciation of UX and usability.
- Appreciation for clear, maintainable, tested code.
- Ability to communicate clearly and positively.
Work Schedule
- Weekdays, during business hours
- No travel required (fully remote)
